Upgraded Cameras and Software

Possibly the biggest, most anticipated feature of the Galaxy S20 is the abundance of professional-grade cameras. The base S20 model has four total cameras, but the S20+ and S20 Ultra 5G have five, including 100x Space Zoom on the S20 Ultra. 8K Video

The three new Galaxy models are also the first-ever smartphones to boast 8K video recording, delivering the clearest, most crisp picture ever recorded on a smartphone. Samsung also added Super Steady anti-rolling stabilization and AI motion analysis to keep your videos as smooth as possible.
Plus, if you own a 2019 or 2020 Samsung QLED 8K TV, you can stream the 8K videos directly from your Galaxy to the TV. Samsung has also partnered with YouTube to allow 8K video uploads directly to their website.

Netflix and Google Integration

Along with a variety of enhanced features, Samsung has also partnered with a few companies to provide their customers with a better smartphone experience.

Samsung is now Netflix’s official mobile entertainment partner, meaning users can ask their phone or voice assistant to play a certain movie or show and it will take them straight to the Netflix app. Plus, Samsung users can unlock bonus content related to Netflix titles, like Narcos and Elite.

Google is also working with Samsung to integrate a video chat app called Google Duo into Samsung’s software. It’ll be accessible right on the dialer screen, much like FaceTime is on an iPhone. Plus, Live Caption will be available on all the Galaxy S20 models, making video chatting more accessible to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities.

The new Samsung Galaxy S20+ and the Verizon-exclusive S20 Ultra 5G will be available for pre-order at your nearest Cellular Sales store starting February 21st and will officially launch on March 6th. The S20 base model will not yet be available through Verizon, but keep checking back for more information on when it’s available.
