Apple just unveiled its latest iPhone lineup. This year’s event, Far Out, highlights the infinite possibilities of Apple devices. The unveiling featured Apple’s most innovative Pro series yet, along with new Apple Watch models and the long-awaited AirPods Pro follow-up.

What’s new for Apple iPhone 14?
The latest lineup released by Apple includes iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Explore the specs and features below.
iPhone 14, 14 Plus
- Available in 6.1” and 6.7” screen
- All-day battery life
- Brighter True Tone flash

iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are available in five new colors, including Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple, and Product (RED).
The front-facing True Depth camera is a new feature of the latest iPhone. Apple also improved video recording capabilities to include improved stabilization for smoother videos.
Enhanced safety features on iPhone 14 include crash detection and Emergency SOS via satellite. You no longer need WiFi or cell service to contact emergency services. Your smartphone will communicate with satellites to contact authorities when you can’t.

Apple iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are featured in four colors, including Space Black, Silver, Gold, and Deep Purple. The Pro series phones have brighter panels and slimmer borders.
The camera system got a significant upgrade as well, with better low light performance and zoom capabilities.
Dynamic Island is a new feature for iPhone 14 Pro. The latest addition bubbles up your music, sports scores, FaceTime, and more. All without taking you away from what you’re doing.
Powerful performance with iOS 16
In addition to the new upgrades, the iPhone 14 is powered by iOS 16, the latest Apple operating system. The new iOS enhances the iPhone with all-new personalization features, deeper intelligence, and seamless communication methods.
For example, iOS 16 allows you to personalize your lock screen. Create a gallery with a stylized view of the date and time. Switch your lock screen throughout the day by simply holding and swiping. You can even customize the font, color, and placement of the time. Astronomy lovers can even set the lock screen to a view of the earth, moon, or solar system that updates with live conditions.
Edit Message features allow you to edit a text for up to 15 minutes after sending. You can also unsend any message for up to two minutes after sending it. If you accidentally open a message, you can mark it as unread and reply later.
Passkeys will replace passwords for an easier and safer sign-in method.
Apple Pay Later allows you to split the cost of your Apple Pay purchase into four payments over six weeks with no interest fees.

Apple Watch Series 8
The newest Apple smartwatch will still have all the features you love that have made it the top smartwatch in the world for seven years running. That includes heart monitors, workout tracking, sleep tracking, and Emergency SOS. The newest addition is packed full of even more handy features.
The Apple Watch Series 8 has some significant updates. Now it has a temperature sensor for advanced women’s health and wellness tracking. An improved battery provides all-day 18-hour performance with low power mode options. The newest smartwatch also comes with the crash detection found on iPhone 14.
Apple Watch SE
Apple released Apple Watch SE as an entry-level option. It comes in three new colors: Silver, Midnight, and Starlight. You can wear the smartwatch to track workouts, even swimming. The swim-proof design also features emergency SOS, fall, and crash detection. Apple Watch SE has a 30% larger display than the Series 3, and it’s 20% faster than before.
Apple Watch SE is an ideal option for kids. With Family Setup, your kids can make calls to contacts you specify, share their location, and call emergency numbers.
Apple Watch Ultra
The Apple Watch Ultra features an entirely new design. The 49mm face has the biggest and brightest display Apple offers. The Ultra has up to 60 hours of battery life. The new design features an extra speaker and microphone so you can easily communicate no matter how loud the background noise is.
Athletes and people with a knack for adventure will love these new fitness features:
- Action Button – a quick control for the most accurate start to a workout
- Wayfinder – a compass customized for mountain, ocean, trails, endurance training, and water sports
- L1+L5 GPS – accurate tracking for every environment from the forest to the city
- Backtrack – retrace steps with GPS data
- Siren – activate using the action button for a unique sound pattern that alerts up to 60 ft
- WR100 – ideal for water sports to show the correct depth and temperature
AirPods Pro (Gen 2)
The latest generation of Apple AirPods Pro will make your favorite song sound like you are on stage with the band around you. It features two times more active noise cancellation and personalized spatial audio. The new touch control will allow you to adjust the volume by simply swiping. The improved battery will give you 6 hours of listening time from a single charge and 30 hours with the case. AirPods Pro (Gen 2) can be charged using Apple Watch charger and MagSafe.
Preorders for iPhone 14 begin on September 9 and will be available in stores on September 16 and October 7.
