From finding dog-friendly restaurants to seeking out the best veterinarian near you, these apps are made for animal lovers everywhere.

11pets for iOS and Android

This app was made specially for families with multiple pets, animal welfare organizations and professional groomers, but it can be incredibly helpful for anyone.

11pets offers everything you need to care for your animals and keep track of their medical information. You can log your pet’s medications and set reminders, schedule vaccinations and de-wormings, log x-ray results, lab results, blood tests, and more. You can even upload photos of your pet and keep track of their health progress, grooming preferences, and hygiene.

Another helpful tool for keeping track of appointments and due dates is a smartphone calendar!  All of our smartphones have a pre-installed calendar app that’s perfect for keeping track of what your pet needs and when. If you want to learn more about how to use the calendar app on your smartphone, check out our blog or visit your nearest Cellular Sales store. Our sales reps are happy to help!

Puppr for iOS and Android

Want to teach your dog some new tricks? Puppr can help. This app includes step-by-step video and photo instructions of over 60 lessons taught by celebrity dog trainer Sara Carson & The Super Collies (America’s Got Talent top 5 finalist). Puppr also has a built-in clicker, and all tricks are taught with positive reinforcement.

Users have the option of purchasing a subscription to Puppr premium, which is $9.99 per month or $95.99 per year, but it’s not required.

Teaching your pup new tricks will be rewarding for both of you. Plus, you can snap some adorable photos of their new skills for All American Pet Photo Day!

BringFido for iOS and Android

If you love taking your pet with you when you travel, BringFido is a great app to use. This app makes finding a pet-friendly hotel, restaurant, or event a walk in the (dog) park. Just type in your destination and BringFido will show you a list of results sorted by distance, popularity, ratings, or price. You can also specify if you have more than one pet or a larger breed of dog, which can be helpful for finding locations with breed or weight restrictions.

Once you find a hotel that suits your needs, you can book a room right through the app. BringFido can help you find pet stores, veterinarians and dog sitters in your area, too.

If you love walking your dog, a new smart watch might be a great fit for you! You can keep track of your steps, see what distances you’ve walked and check the weather all from your wrist. Visit your nearest Cellular Sales store or check out our smart watch deals here.

Rover for iOS and Android

Rover is a helpful app for finding reliable dog sitters, walkers and daycares in your area. It’s basically Uber for pet-sitting. You can contact and message sitters and dog walkers, receive photo updates of your pup while you’re gone, track your dog’s walks, and securely pay for services directly through the Rover app.

You can even receive pee and poop alerts, meal break alerts and water break alerts if you really want to keep tabs on your fur children while you’re gone.

All dog sitters and walkers are background checked and vetted through Rover’s security process, so you can rest assured knowing your pup is in the best hands.

Pet First Aid for iOS and Android

As a pet parent, there’s nothing scarier than thinking your pet might be sick. That’s where the Pet First Aid app from the American Red Cross comes in. This app puts veterinary advice for everyday emergencies in the palm of your hand. There’s an early warning sign checker for preventative care, resources in the app that show you what’s normal and what isn’t, and a symptoms checklist that could help you determine if your pet needs emergency care.

You can also find how-to videos for common emergency situations, like CPR, and receive advice on administering medication.

With the Pet First Aid app, you can be more prepared in case of an emergency and get the help your pet needs.
