Using your phone outside of the U.S.

Customers frequently ask our Experts if they can use their Verizon Wireless phone outside of the U.S. The answer is: It depends. If the wireless networks in the country you are traveling to use the same type of technology as Verizon, you can most likely use your Verizon Wireless cell phone. If the wireless networks are different, you can rent a compatible phone by calling Verizon's Global Services Department or upgrading to a Global Device. This way, you'll always be covered!
