Get It Now downloads are distinguished as a data call to the mobile number 777-000-0000. Currently the only way to differentiate between a Get It Now session and a Mobile Web session is to match the date of the airtime charge to the date of the download displayed in the Service Charges and Credits section of the bill.

To disable/remove applications on our more popular handsets, follow the instructions below:

Verizon Wireless does not charge a specific fee for porting numbers to or from our service. Unlike some wireless companies, we have not charged customers for the upfront costs of preparing for number portability before the mandate becomes effective. Important Note: If you port out from us, you will be responsible for any accrued charges, and any applicable early termination fee if you port out before the end of your minimum term.

No. The Mobile Instant Messaging application is available at no charge to download, but Airtime (KBU) charges do apply during the download process.

No. The only charges are for the TXT Messages used to send and receive Instant Messages, receive the Contact List, and send Service Requests (Sign on, Refresh Contact List, Add Contact, Block Contact, Sign Out, etc.)

SOLUTION:
Yes. Instant Messages are charged just like TXT Messages, so you can use your TXT bundle or pay as you go. Instant Messages are not included as IN messages in any Unlimited Messaging bundle.

The person who is taking over the account will need to meet the program requirements (price plan $34.99 or higher). The person on the new account will be allowed to keep the same New Every Two Redemption Date as the customer on the original account had, as long as they have not purchased a new phone at a discounted rate. The customer on the new account will be required to sign a new 2-year contract on a calling plan $34.99 or higher at the time of completing their New Every Two Redemption.

Airtime charges in accordance with your Calling Plan apply to all forwarded calls, even if you forward your calls to a landline number. There is no monthly fee on most Verizon Wireless plans (a fee may apply on some retired plans.) Long distance is not charged on forwarded calls if your calling plan includes long distance. If your plan does not include long distance, then charges may apply.

Picture Messages: If you are on a Pay as You Go plan, it costs 25 cents per message (including sounds and text) plus airtime that is billed per your voice calling plan. It takes about one minute or less of airtime to send a picture message with a single photo or graphic and up to 1,000 text characters (actual time varies by message size). If you subscribe to a data plan or feature that does not include unlimited data usage, data used to send and receive picture messages will be deducted from your monthly data allowance or charged at the applicable per-kilobyte rate, even if you also subscribe to a voice calling plan.
Video Messages: If you are on a Pay as You Go plan, it costs 25 cents per message (including text) plus airtime that is billed per your voice calling plan. It takes about two minutes or less of airtime to send a video message (actual time varies by message size). If you subscribe to a data plan or feature that does not include unlimited data usage, data used to send and receive video messages will be deducted from your monthly data allowance or charged at the applicable per-kilobyte rate, even if you also subscribe to a voice calling plan.

If you subscribe to a data plan or feature that does not include unlimited data usage, data used to send and receive picture messages will be deducted from your monthly data allowance or charged at the applicable per-kilobyte rate, even if you also subscribe to a voice calling plan.

SOLUTION:
No. However, if you send a picture / video message to a friend's Verizon Wireless phone, he/she will be charged for receiving either a picture message, video message or a text message, depending on what type of phone they have.
Note: At this time you cannot send messages from Pix Place to subscribers with non Verizon Wireless phones. You can however send to any your messages to any valid E-Mail addresses.
